raising support

Our church hosts an OPT (Overcoming Poverty Dinner) each week. It is a great program that helps people figure out logistics like Medical Insurance, child care, and schooling needs. Raising support through good Landing Page Optimization for the Web site, Yellow Pages ads, and even articles in the paper have been important.
This is a community organization, not simply a ministry of the church. We are looking for ways to increase the community support. What are some ways that you guys would suggest doing this? Any tips or advice welcome.
